Create A Custom Search Shortcut In Chrome

Search on any website using a custom url

1. Go to the settings page

Go to Chrome's Settings Page

2. In the sidebar click Search Engine

4. Scroll down and Click Add

5. Fill out the form

  1. Title that would appear when you type in the shortcut.
  2. Your shortcut for the url.
  3. The URL. Replace the search tem for %s.

    e.g https://www.google.com/search?q=test to https://www.google.com/search?q=%s.

6. Try it out.

  • Type in the shortcut in the search bar
  • Click the title
  • Type a thing you want to search
  • Press Enter.
